The Japanese Club at FLICS (Foreign Language Immersion & Cultural Studies School) was formed in 1990.  ​

 

FLICS, a Detroit Public School, is a Kindergarten - 8th-grade foreign language immersion school.  It is one of the only public immersion programs in the state that specializes in four languages: Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and French.  Our site is dedicated to all students

in the Japanese program at FLICS.
 

Our mission is to increase awareness of the Japanese Club and support through education, immersion, and culture with integrity and pride.

 

Our vision is sending EVERY Japanese Language student to Japan.  This would help prepare each student to compete on a global level and witness the culture first hand.
